What You Need

  • 1 package yellow butter cake mix
  • 1 package jello instant vanilla pudding
  • ½ cup dark rum
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup dark rum

How to Make It

Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a bundt cake pan by greasing and flouring and then set aside until needed.

Using a large mixing bowl and an electric mixer you will add the cake mix, pudding, ½ cup dark rum, water, oil, and eggs and then beat while mixing thoroughly.

Pour the cake batter into the prepared bundt pan and then place in hot oven to bake for approximately 50 minutes or until done.

After baking, remove from oven, place a plate on top of the pan, and then turn the whole thing over to remove the cake from the pan. After removing from pan, begin to poke holes into the top of the cake. You will pour the rum glaze over the top and then allow it to absorb into the hot cake while cooling.
